Merge PDF files

Drop several documents, put them in order, and get a single PDF. There is no imposed size limit, no queue and no account to create, because the assembly is done by your own machine.

How do I merge multiple PDFs for free, with no size limit?

Drop your documents into Vellum, drag them into order, and get a single PDF. The assembly is done by your own device, which is why there is no size limit or file-count cap.

Can I choose the order of the files before merging them?

Yes, each added document can be freely dragged within the list before export; the final PDF follows exactly that order.

Are my files sent to a server while merging?

No. The merge happens entirely in your browser, with no upload, no queue, and no account required.

How does sorting work before merging?

Three modes: “Manual” keeps the drop order, adjustable with the up/down arrows (the default behavior, unchanged). “By name” applies a natural sort, where “page2.pdf” correctly comes before “page10.pdf”, unlike a strict alphabetical sort. “By date” uses each file’s last-modified date. Switching modes reorders the list immediately; any file added afterward is inserted according to that same sort.
