How to convert a PDF to PowerPoint, step by step

Each chosen page becomes a slide in the page’s format; everything is computed in your browser.

  1. Drop the PDF

    Drag the file onto the drop area, or click to choose it. Its size and page count appear.

  2. Choose the pages

    Leave the “Pages to convert” field blank to convert everything, type for example “1-3, 5”, or click the thumbnails.

  3. Set sharpness and notes

    “Standard” is enough for a screen; “High” for projecting on a large screen. The “Page text in the notes” box, ticked by default, copies each page’s text into the speaker notes.

  4. Click “Create N slides”

    The .pptx file opens in PowerPoint, Keynote, LibreOffice Impress or Google Slides.

The slides are images of the pages: the text cannot be edited on the slide. To rework the text, use “PDF to Word” instead.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit the text on the slides?

No: each slide is a faithful image of the page, which guarantees that fonts, charts and layout come out identical, without a server. The page text is copied into the speaker notes, where it stays readable and searchable. To rework the text, “PDF to Word” is the right tool.

What format are the slides?

That of the first chosen page: an A4 landscape presentation gives A4 landscape slides. A page in another format is fitted and centred, without distortion.

Is my PDF sent anywhere?

No. The pages are rendered by your browser and the .pptx file is assembled on your device; nothing is uploaded.
